Amdanom ni / About us
Mae Rhwydwaith RNLI Cymru yn rhwydwaith a chymuned sy’n dathlu, hyrwyddo a chefnogi’r Gymraeg a diwylliant Cymru ar draws yr RNLI. Mae’r rhwydwaith yn agored i bob gwirfoddolwr ac aelod o staff, boed yn siaradwyr Cymraeg, yn ddysgwyr, neu’n rhai sydd â diddordeb yn niwylliant a threftadaeth Cymru.
Mae’r rhwydwaith yn darparu lle i rannu profiadau, meithrin cysylltiadau, ac annog defnydd o’r Gymraeg ar draws y sefydliad, gan helpu i sicrhau bod yr RNLI yn gynhwysol ac yn adlewyrchu’r cymunedau yr ydym eu gwasanaethu yng Nghymru.Fel grŵp, rydym hefyd yn ceisio dylanwadu ar a chefnogi penderfyniadau, prosesau a chyfathrebiadau er mwyn cryfhau darpariaeth y Gymraeg ac ymwybyddiaeth ddiwylliannol o fewn yr RNLI.
The RNLI Cymru (Welsh Language and Culture Network) is a network and community that celebrates, promotes and supports the Welsh language and culture across the RNLI. The network is open to all volunteers and staff, whether they are Welsh speakers, learners, or those with an interest in Welsh culture and heritage.
The network provides a space to share experiences, build connections, and encourage the use of Welsh across the organisation, helping to ensure that the RNLI is inclusive and reflective of the communities it serves in Wales. As a group, we also seek to influence and support decision making, processes and communications to strengthen Welsh language provision and cultural awareness within the RNLI.

Mae’r rôl hon yn cefnogi ac yn arwain Rhwydwaith RNLI Cymru i gyflawni ei bwrpas, drwy hwyluso cyfarfodydd, cyflawni amcanion y rhwydwaith, a gweithredu fel cynrychiolydd rhwng aelodau a rhanddeiliaid allweddol ar draws yr RNLI.
This role supports and leads the RNLI Cymru Network to achieve its purpose, by facilitating meetings, delivering on network objectives, and acting as a representative between members and key stakeholders across the RNLI
Beth fyddwch chi’n ei wneud? / What will you be doing?
Mae’r rôl hon yn gyfrifol am arwain gweithgareddau’r rhwydwaith, gan gynnwys:
This role is responsible for leading on network activity, including:
- Hwyluso cyfarfodydd y rhwydwaith (a gynhelir ar hyn o bryd yn fisol)/ Facilitating network meetings (currently held on a monthly basis
- Cefnogi twf y rhwydwaith, gan gynnwys cynyddu ymwybyddiaeth ac aelodaeth / Supporting the growth of the network, including increasing awareness and membership
- Arwain a chefnogi’r gwaith o gyflawni amcanion y rhwydwaith, gan gynnwys goruchwylio gweithgareddau / Leading and supporting delivery of network objectives, including oversight of activities
- Hyrwyddo ac annog y defnydd o’r Gymraeg ar draws yr RNLI / Promoting and encouraging the use of the Welsh language across the RNLI
- Cefnogi cyfleoedd i ymgysyllltu a chodi ymwybyddiaeth ddiwylliannol (e.e. digwyddiadau, ymgyrchoedd neu ddyddiadau allweddol yn y calendr Cymreig (fel Dydd Gwyl Dewi) / Supporting cultural awareness and engagement opportunities e.g. events, campaigns or key Welsh calendar moments (such as St David’s Day)
- Cefnogi ac ymgysylltu ag aelodau drwy rannu diweddariadau’r RNLI, cyfleoedd a gwybodaeth berthnasol / Supporting and engaging the membership by sharing RNLI updates, opportunities, and relevant information
- Gweithredu fel pwynt cyswllt i aelodau, gan gynnwys rheoli mewnflwch e-bost y rhwydwaith / Acting as a point of contact for members, including managing an RNLI Cymru network inbox
- Cydweithio â noddwr y rhwydwaith, gan rannu diweddariadau, mewnwelediadau ac adborth gan aelodau / Liaising with the network sponsor, sharing updates, insights and feedback from members
- Cynrychioli’r rhwydwaith mewn gweithgarwch EDI ehangach (e.e. cyfarfodydd traws-rwydwaith a gweithgarwch ‘ad hoc’ arall) / Representing the network in wider EDI activity (e.g. cross network meetings and other ad hoc activity)
- Ymgysylltu â rhanddeiliaid ar draws y sefydliad i eirioli dros y Gymraeg ac ystyriaethau diwylliannol / Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to advocate for Welsh language and cultural considerations
- Cefnogi datblygiad adnoddau, canllawiau neu fentrau sy’n gwella gwelededd a hygyrchedd y Gymraeg o fewn yr RNLI
- Supporting the development of resources, guidance, or initiatives that improve Welsh language visibility and accessibility within the RNLI

- Y gallu i gydbwyso eich rôl yn yr RNLI a’ch llwyth gwaith gyda gofynion y rhwydwaith, gyda chefnogaeth eich rheolwr / Ability to balance your RNLI role and workload with network responsibilities, with the support of your manager
- Hyder i ymgysylltu ag ystod o randdeiliaid a chynrychioli’r rhwydwaith / Confidence in engaging with a range of stakeholders and representing the network
- Brwdfrydedd, cymhelliant ac agwedd gydweithredol tuag at arwain rhwydwaith / Enthusiasm, motivation, and a collaborative approach to leading a network
