About Us

We are currently looking for a Branch Box Collector to join the Fundraising Group. 

The RNLI has a network of local fundraising teams organising a wide range of activities and events which last year raised £14 million to save lives at sea. Each team is supported by a Community Manager, although the range and frequency of fundraising events is determined by the team members themselves. 

The impact you will make 

You will enable volunteer RNLI lifeboat crews to save lives at sea by carrying out vital collection box fundraising activity in your local community. 

What you will be doing 

  • Servicing, maintaining and emptying collection boxes on a regular basis and issuing related receipts
  • Recording the amounts raised from individual collecting boxes and passing monies to the treasurer for banking or paying monies into the bank using a paying-in book
  • Seeking out new locations for collection boxes
  • Being a positive ambassador and advocate for the RNLI and helping to drive our One Crew ethos
