Mae Gorsaf Bad Achub yr RNLI yng Nghricieth yn chwilio am wirfoddolwr gydag argaeledd penodol yn ystod y dydd (Dydd Llun i Ddydd Gwener) i ymwneud yn ehangach â’r tîm presennol fel Llyw Bad Achub y Glannau.
Sefydlwyd Gorsaf Bad Achub Cricieth ym 1853 ac mae wedi’i lleoli ar lannau gogleddol Bae Ceredigion. Ar hyn o bryd, mae’n gweithredu bad achub Iwerydd 85 dosbarth B a bad achub y glannau Arancia. Mae’r criwiau wedi cael naw gwobr am ddewrder.

Bydd y rôl hon yn ein helpu i achub bywydau ar y môr trwy sicrhau bod y badau achub yn yr orsaf bad achub hon yn barod i wasanaethu bob amser, a thrwy reoli bad achub yr orsaf neu fod yn aelod o’i griw pan fydd yn gwasanaethu ac yn ymarfer.

- Rheoli’r bad achub y glannau pan fydd yn gwasanaethu ac yn ymarfer, a gwasanaethu fel aelod o’i griw ar bob adeg arall
- Cynnal eich cymhwysedd trwy Hyfforddiant seiliedig ar Gymhwysedd a chyfrannu at hyfforddi gwirfoddolwyr eraill
- Cynnal gwiriadau cyn lansio ac ar ôl adfer, gan roi gwybod am ddiffygion a helpu i wneud gwaith cynnal a chadw ac atgyweirio fel y bo’r angen

The RNLI’s Lifeboat Station in Criccieth is looking for a volunteer with specific daytime availability (Monday to Friday) to expand their involvement with the existing team in the role of Inshore Lifeboat Helm.
Established in 1853, Criccieth Lifeboat Station is located on the northern shores of Cardigan Bay. It currently operates a B class Atlantic 85 lifeboat and an Arancia inshore rescue boat. The crews have been presented with nine awards for gallantry.
The impact you will make
This role will help us save lives at sea by ensuring the Lifeboats at this lifeboat station are always ready for service and by taking command or crewing the stations lifeboat during service and exercise.
What you will be doing
- Command the inshore lifeboat on service and exercise and at all other times serve as a member of its crew
- Maintain competence under Competency Based Training and contribute to the training of other volunteers
- carry out pre-launch and post–recovery checks, reporting defects and assist with maintenance and repair as needed

- Live or work within 4 miles of the station and be between 17 and 55 years of age
