Occupational Health Admin Volunteer - Filing Support
The RNLI’s Occupational Health and Wellbeing team are looking for volunteers to support their work at the RNLI’s Support Centre in Poole.
If you enjoy a busy office environment and have good attention to detail, we would love to hear from you. The amount of time you volunteer each week is flexible, we would just love to have you on board.
The Poole Support Centre is open for a limited number of staff and volunteers whose roles cannot be performed elsewhere and is a Covid-19 secure environment.
The impact you will make
This role will help us save lives at sea by supporting the smooth running of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing department who help ensure our people are fit to perform their lifesaving roles and provide our people with specialist advice and support as appropriate. This role is key to support the smooth day to day running of this small but vital department.
What you will be doing
- Filing Occupational Health records after their use by the team
- Ensuring records are kept appropriately in line with RNLI record retention policies
- Alerting the Occupational Health Supervisor to any issues

What you need for this role
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks associated with filing paper records
- Enjoy working in a busy office environment
- Comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information
- IT skills and confidence using Microsoft office applications would be advantageous but not essential
