Mae Gorsaf Bad Achub yr RNLI yn Aberdyfi yn chwilio am wirfoddolwyr i ymuno â’r tîm presennol fel Swyddog Gweinyddol y Bad Achub. 

Mae’r orsaf bad achub, sy’n swatio ym mhentref bach Aberdyfi ar ochr ogleddol aber afon Dyfi, wedi bod yn gweithredu ers bron 140 o flynyddoedd. Heddiw, mae’r bad achub y glannau dosbarth B Iwerydd 75 yn lansio i ddyfroedd Bae Ceredigion.

Byddwch yn ein helpu i achub bywydau ar y môr trwy roi cymorth gweinyddol i’r Rheolwr Gweithrediadau Bad Achub a Chadeirydd Grŵp Rheoli’r Bad Achub.

• Cymryd cofnodion o gyfarfodydd y Tîm Gweithredol
• Cymryd cofnodion o gyfarfodydd Grŵp Rheoli’r Bad Achub
• Bod yn brif bwynt cyswllt ar gyfer materion gweinyddol cyffredinol sydd o ddiddordeb i’r orsaf bad achub
• Efallai byddwch hefyd yn cynorthwyo aelodau’r Tîm Gweithrediadau a’r Grŵp Rheoli Bad Achub trwy weithredu systemau cyfrifiadurol yr RNLI ar eu rhan, fel Microsoft Outlook, AX a’r system parth dysgu

About us

The RNLI’s Lifeboat Station in Aberdovey is looking for volunteers to join the existing team in the role of Lifeboat Administrative Officer.

Nestling in the small village of Aberdovey on the north side of the Dyfi estuary, the lifeboat station has operated for nearly 140 years. Today’s inshore B class Atlantic 75 lifeboat launches into the waters of Cardigan Bay.

The impact you will make

You will help us save lives at sea by providing administrative support to the Lifeboat Operations Manager and to the Chairperson of the Lifeboat Management Group.

What you will be doing

• Record notes of operational team meetings
• Record minutes of Lifeboat Management Group meetings
• Be the primary contact point on general administrative matters of interest to the lifeboat station
• You may also support Operations Team and Lifeboat Management Group team members through operating the RNLI’s computer systems such as Microsoft Outlook, AX and the learning zone system on their behalf

What you need for this role

• Strong organisational skills
• Good communicator
• IT skills – Word/Excel/email
• Knowledge and understanding of the local station (desirable)

Applicants will be subject to a selection process with successful applicants being subject to a one-year probation period in order to assess an individual’s behaviors and commitment associated with working as part of a team.
