About us
The RNLI’s Lifeboat Station in Bridlington is looking for a volunteer to take up the role of Tractor Driver.
The impact you will make
This role will help us save lives at sea by assisting with the safe launch and recovery of the lifeboat on service and exercise.
What you will be doing
- Take charge of the launch vehicle and rig during the launch and recovery of the lifeboat for services and exercises under the direction of the Head Launcher, Coxswain or Helm
- Maintain competence under the Competency Framework for the role
- (Head Launcher) Oversee the launch and recovery of the Lifeboat for services and exercises under the direction of the Coxswain, Helm or Commander
- (Head Launcher) Lead the Shore crew team
- Contribute to the overall upkeep of the station, lifeboats and equipment

What you need for this role
- Strong team working skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Local maritime and RNLI knowledge
- Ability to learn new skills
- Live or work in close proximity of the station and be between 17 and 65 years of age
