Why we want you
The Lifeboat Enthusiasts' Society brings together those with a keen interest in lifeboats, the RNLI and the history of the lifeboat service. You will support volunteer RNLI lifeboat crews to save lives at sea by leading volunteers in the Society to raise vital funds and share knowledge and understanding of RNLI.
What you will be doing
- Overseeing the achievement of the Aims & Objectives of the Society
- Leading, motivating and coordinating the Committee and recruitment of new members
- Organising (in conjunction with Committee members) four committee meetings a year
- Overseeing Society finances, liaising with the Honorary Treasurer
- Supporting Society Events
- Any other activities to ensure the smooth running of the Society
The skills you need
- Enthusiasm
- Good interpersonal skills and leadership experience
- Basic IT skills
- Excellent communications skills and confident speaking in public
