About us

The impact you will make

You will help save lives at sea by generating vital funds by researching, applying for and stewarding a portfolio of Regional Community Foundations and local trusts for the North and East, delivering excellent customer service skills through innovative and creative communications.

What you will be doing

  • Thorough research and information gathering around community grants
  • Writing compelling, bespoke fundraising proposals for community grants which are carefully crafted to align with grant giver and charity
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community foundations through regular written communications as well as looking for opportunities to enhance stewardship through lifeboat station visits
  • Work closely with RNLI Fundraising & Partnership Lead to maintain accurate record keeping, reporting and ensure efficient, compliant and accurate recording of donations

Training to fulfil your volunteer role will be provided and reasonable out of pocket expenses reimbursed.
