About us

As an organisation we have made a clear commitment to inclusion. We want to promote engagement with our EDI plan across the RNLI, particularly with our volunteers. By building a network of Inclusion Champions, we will promote and improve inclusion across the RNLI as well as gathering insight and feedback on initiatives across the RNLI.

We will create a network of people, staff and volunteers who can be initial points of contact to support inclusion related questions and queries.

The impact you will make

You will help us save lives at sea supporting engagement and delivery of our equity, diversity and inclusion plan which will ensure the sustainability of the RNLI.

What will you be doing?

  • Promote and champion inclusion initiatives and our People Networks.
  • Provide support to others to engage with our EDI plan.
  • Provide support to colleagues with conversations around inclusion.
  • Attend regular meetings with our inclusion champions to discuss our approach to inclusion.
  • Participate in working groups for specific projects.
