About us
We are currently looking for a Museum Learning Volunteer to support the Heritage Development Manager at the RNLI Grace Darling Museum in Bamburgh.
RNLI heritage is defined as the story of our people and service since 1824. In order to protect and preserve our history, the heritage team collect and care for objects and archives and make these accessible through our museums to the public.
The impact you will make
You will help save lives at sea by raising awareness of key safety messages and promote the current work of the RNLI through our unique heritage.
What you will be doing
- Leading fun workshops and activities for school and youth groups visiting the museum or occaisionally at a school.
- Assisting with family events.
- Presenting heritage talks to groups of adults.
