About Us
The RNLI’s is looking for a volunteer Technical Assistant based in South West Regional Base but will include travel across the South West region, to support with vehicle and boat maintenance.
The impact you will make
This role will help us save lives at sea by supporting technicians with defect rectification and planned maintenance, ensuring that life-saving equipment is ready for service.
What you will be doing
- Assisting with maintenance and repairs
- Assisting with diagnostics
- Providing technical support and advice
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks as requested
What do you need for this role?
- Understanding of mechanical/technical systems
- Awareness of health and safety would be helpful
- Enjoys being part of a team but also volunteering independently
- Ability to learn new skills
